At Horncastle Pool & Fitness Suite, we have an open plan gym with a variety of TechnoGym equipment.
This includes the following:
- Technogym Cardio: 6 treadmills, 4 cross trainers, 1 hand bike, 2 upright bikes, 2 recumbent bikes,1 skill mill, 1 stepper machine.
- Technogym Pin Machines: leg press, leg extension, leg curl, vertical traction (lat pulldown), low row, chest press, shoulder press, dual adjustable pulley
- Concept 2: 2 Rowers
- Smith machine
- Free weights: dumbbells from 1kg to 50kg, sandbags to 20kg, kettlebells to 20kg, 5kg slam ball, stability ball, dip bars, 3 adjustable benches, ez curl bar and 15kg barbell, pump bar and plates
You can get support and guidance from our experienced Lifestyle Consultants. You can book any of the following, dependant on the support required:
- Introduction – 1hr/30min session with a Lifestyle Consultant, where they can guide you around our venue, show you how to use our gym equipment and answer any questions you may have. FREE for members and non-members.
- Personal Programme – A qualified Lifestyle Consultant will design an exercise programme specifically for you, helping you to achieve your personal fitness goals. Free for members.
- Personal Training Sessions – 1:1 personal training session with a Lifestyle Consultant. All sessions will be tailored to you, and progress will be monitored. £25 an hour.
- Fitness Transformation Programme – includes:
- A 30-minute consultation
- 6 x 1:1 Personal Training sessions
- Nutrition & dietary advice
- Calorie and macronutrient goals
- Step challenge
- Check-ins to monitor progress, weight-ins on weeks 1,6 & 12 using measurements and progress photos.
- Available to members for £130 and non-members for £230.
The gym is only available to those aged 11 years and above.
Those aged 11-15 YEARS would need to book an Introduction before they are able to use the gym.
Between the ages 11-15, there are certain restrictions on what can and can’t be used in the gym. This would all be discussed within the Introduction and is important to be followed for safety reasons. Please see below:
11-13 YEARS – Can use cardio machines, functional area (except kettlebells/weights) and circuit series.
14-15 YEARS – The above, as well as pin select resistance machines and cables.
16+ – Can use everything including free weights and plate loaded machines.
