This year’s Mental Health Awareness Week (12–18 May 2025) invites us to pause and reflect on something we all need — community.
At Magna Vitae, we see every day how vital community is for wellbeing. Whether it’s a friendly face at reception, a chat after a swim, or a shared laugh in a dance class, it’s those small moments of connection that make a big difference.
Why Community Matters
Being part of a safe, positive community gives us more than just a place to go — it gives us a sense of belonging, purpose, and support. When life feels overwhelming, community reminds us we are not alone. It can offer a listening ear, a helping hand and a reason to keep going.
From tackling loneliness to helping people manage stress and anxiety, strong communities are powerful protectors of mental health.

Exercise: Your Mind’s Best Friend
Here’s a fact: exercise is one of the best things you can do for your mental health. It boosts mood, reduces anxiety and stress, and helps you sleep better. But we also understand that making that first step can be the hardest part.
That’s why we’ve worked hard to make it easier and more comfortable for everyone.

Our Venues: A Hub for Connection
Magna Vitae venues aren’t just about fitness — they’re vibrant hubs of the community. Places where you can meet new people, reconnect with old friends, and feel part of something bigger.
From group classes and community events to wellbeing programmes and social spaces, we’re here to help you thrive — physically, mentally, and emotionally.
This Mental Health Awareness Week, let’s continue to build a world where everyone feels seen, supported and connected. One conversation, one smile and one step at a time.
