How much are the lockers?
When you are visiting one of our venues, the lockers take a refundable £1 coin or trolley token.
At Meridian Leisure Centre in Louth, if you wish to use the Health Suite changing rooms, please note these are padlocked lockers. This means that you will need to bring a padlock with you to use the lockers.
Please note all lockers are emptied regularly to avoid custom keeping their belonging in a locker.
Can I use the changing rooms before my swim?
Given that Covid19 is still very much around, to help the flow into our changing areas and to also help keep the cleaning standards high, we are encouraging users to arrive with their swim costumes under their outdoor clothes. If however this isn’t possible, then changing facilities will be open.
Can we use the showers?
From 19 July, yes you can use to the showers for a pre and post swim shower. We do still advise to keeping these to a minimum amount of time, to reduce the contact with other users.
Can we use lockers?
From 19 July you can use the lockers within the changing rooms. We advise you to wipe down the lockers before and after use.
Will the sauna and steam room reopen at Meridian Leisure Centre?
Meridian Leisure Centre’s sauna and steam room will reopen from 26 July. The times will be confirmed week commencing 19 July.
Do we still need to scan the QR code on each visit?
Whilst it is not essential for you to continue to check in with the QR codes, we will continue to display these within the venues for you to check in using the NHS app.
Can we stand and catch up with someone socially in the building?
Whilst you can now do this, although we still advise to socialise outside in the fresh air. At Meridian Leisure Centre or Skegness Pool and Fitness Suite why don’t you take advantage of the café and enjoy a coffee and cake!
Can we use personal towels?
Yes, you can use personal towels again. Please be mindful of others and still use the wipes in the fitness suite to wipe down equipment before and after use.
Can we workout next to each other in the gym?
Yes, you can now workout next to other people on the fitness equipment. Please be mindful of others when using the machinery, as some users may not want to do this.
Do I still need to wipe equipment down?
Hygiene and cleaning standards are still very much high on our agenda, and we still advise to wipe equipment down before and after use.
We have noted a change since returning from lockdown. The team will continue to enforce this so that we can provide the best possible experience for our users.
Can we visit the venue for a session without booking?
Whilst we understand that it is easier to turn up to sessions, there is no guarantee that there will be space for you.
For example, we will still be operating to a limited capacity within the swimming pools, if the session you turn up for is already fully booked you may need to wait until the next session that is available before entering.
We advise to book in advance to avoid disappointment.
Do we still need to book in advance?
All our sessions will remain as web bookable and members and MV card holders can book their sessions directly through the booking online portal.
We have had some really positive feedback on how this is helping people stay committed to their sessions, plan their day and also ensure they can get a space. We therefore will really be encouraging people to continue with this service.

Please note the following when visiting our venues:
- Please arrive swim ready for your pool sessions (with your swimming costume underneath your outdoor clothes) where possible. From 19 July we will be allowing use of the changing rooms and lockers once again.
- We ask all visitors to please wear a face covering when arriving, traveling around the venue and also when in our spectator areas.
Can I check what bookings I have made?
Yes, you will be able to see all of your bookings and you will receive a confirmation email for each booking you make through our booking portal.
How do I receive my online booking details?
Please contact reception at your nearest centre to collect your login details.
The doctor has referred me to come to the gym, how do I start?
We run sessions for referrals from your gp. Once we have received your referral letter one of our consultants will call you to book a consultation. This option is £45 for 3 months and then you can choose to do £23.50 a month by direct debit for the next 9 months.

Do you offer personal training sessions and how much are they?
Yes we do, each site has their own Personal Trainers, speak to reception to get their prices.
Can I have a programme made for my specific needs to use in the gym?
We can do that, all we ask is for you to contact reception so that they can book you in with one of our consultants on a day and time to suit. This is included as part of your membership.
Do I have to become a member to use the gym?
No you can use the gym “pay as you go”, you will need to pay for your induction then pay each time you come in. If you would like to participate in an exercise class whilst you are at the venue you will need to pay for this seperately.
Do you do a monthly membership for those working in area?
There is an option for a non-contract membership. Take a look at our membership packages.
Why do I need an induction if I’ve used gyms elsewhere?
Joining the gym allows access to all of our equipment which can be different from other sites. The first, most important part of the induction is to make sure you know how to use and are comfortable with all of our equipment.
We find that a large number of customers have used gyms before but not necessarily achieved the results they would like, our helpful and qualified staff will assist you to get the most out of your sessions and to make them goal based and enjoyable.
After the initial induction we offer free follow ups to members so that we can design a programme specific to your needs.
I’ve never been to your facility before or used a gym & I’m nervous. Would somebody show me around and what to do?
Drop in to our venues at anytime and someone will be more than happy to give you a tour and get you booked in to have an induction.
Don’t worry! We will show you how to use all of our equipment and design a programme to meet your needs.
How old do you have to be to use the sauna & steam Room?
The age limit for these is 16 years and over.
Are exercise classes free with membership?
Yes exercise classes are free with memberships. If you do not have a membership and you want to do exercise classes, you can pay per class.
