We love events! And we know our stuff when it comes to event organisation! We want local residents to have access to many different and interesting experiences, and it’s even better when people travel from around the country (and even internationally) to join in the fun. The excitement and buzz that innovative high-profile events bring to the area can’t be beaten!

We aim to help you run your event to the highest standards to make it as successful as possible by providing guidance and advice.

Event organisation in East Lindsey

If you are planning an event in the East Lindsey district, you need to complete an Event Notification Form. You should return it to our Events Team by email at events@mvtlc.org.

If you plan to hold your event on land owned by East Lindsey District Council such as the beaches and promenades at Skegness, Mablethorpe and Sutton on Sea, foreshore areas or public car parks you will need to get formal permission to do so.  Email the Property Services Team at the Council detailing exactly which areas of land you want to use, for what purpose, and when (date and times) you want to use it.

You can find further guidance and documentation to help you at Lincolnshire Events Safety Partnership  (LESP)

If you need any additional advice please get in touch with us! We will be happy to provide extra guidance if requested and we always try to make sure you have been made aware of any requirements before your event takes place. However as event organisers, it is ultimately your responsibility to make sure you comply with all legal requirements.

Please note; East Lindsey District Council has a statutory duty to enforce legal requirements around events.

You will need Adobe Reader www.adobe.co.uk to open and fill in the forms.
