About our venue...
The Embassy Theatre is located right at the heart of the seafront attractions of the hugely popular tourist resort of Skegness. The multi-purpose auditorium space and accompanying hospitality areas are ideal for large scale touring productions, weddings, corporate events, staff training days, team bonding initiatives and exhibitions.
2020 and the future...
The much anticipated 2020 season has been brought to an immediate halt as a result of Covid-19.
The team are working hard behind the scenes to ensure that when the time is right, the venue can reopen and continue to serve tens of thousands of visitors a year. The pandemic has hit the leisure and hospitality industry particularly hard however the 2021 calendar will see the venue bounce back - there are plans to welcome three touring West End productions, as well as a host of re-scheduled events that were due to perform in 2020. Top comedy names Jimmy Carr and Chris Ramsey are already on sale, along with the West End tour of Thriller Live - taking place in the 2021 Easter school holidays. A top quality production that the whole family can enjoy.
The next season (when it commences) will be the biggest one ever offered at the venue - with a season full of touring shows, comedians, West End tours and the first ever Magna Vitae Community Production - Shrek The Musical. This enhances further, the venue's reputation as a community hub, giving local talent both on stage and behind the scenes, the chance to shine and perform where so many talented stars have themselves, trod the boards.
The Embassy Theatre's website offers you the chance to view details about all of their events, book your seats for every performance, view more details about their pre-show hospitality options, order your interval drinks and purchase gift cards for your family and friends.
The venue has in the past, not only been the home of the stars, but it has also, because of a wonderful multi-purpose auditorium space, hosted a range of other events with the local community on a regular basis. Most of the local schools use the venue for their end of year speech days, regular blood donor sessions are held in the large capacity auditorium and it also becomes the hub for events such as jobs fairs, conferences and the annual SO Festival. The recent addition of a brand new hospitality space has now given the venue the chance to host Afternoon Teas, a regular Comedy Club night, training days, corporate events and much more.
