Arena Statement for Players of MagnaTAG

  • Only participate in MagnaTAG if you are in good physical condition
  • You must not knowingly be pregnant
  • You must not knowingly have an existing medical condition which may affect your safety in the MagnaTAG arena.
  • You must not be under the influence of alcohol, illicit drugs or prescribed medication that may affect your ability to function safely in the MagnaTAG arena.
  • You must not enter the MagnaTAG arena unless you are a registered player with a registered wristband and undertaken the safety briefing.
  • DO NOT make physical contact with other players in the arena
  • DO NOT attempt any skill or activity outside your own abilities, limitations or skill level
  • Ensure that you remain within your own ability and fitness level at all times

    Please notify a member of staff should you not feel well or require assistance.

    Dangerous behaviour will not be tolerated and you could be asked to leave the MagnaTAG arena.

Arena Rules for MagnaTAG

MagnaTAG is a physically challenging assault course style arena and by participating you understand that the activity is high risk and failure to follow the safety rules could result in serious injury. Failure to follow the arena rules may result in serious injury! Participate at your own risk!

What is the dress code for MagnaTAG?

Shoes
Wear sensible sports shoes (Open toe shoes, croc type shoes, espadrilles or open back shoes must NOT be worn). Shoes must NOT be removed when using the arena.

Clothing
Wear suitable full body clothing i.e. long sleeve top and full length bottoms. Secure all drawstrings prior to participation. DO NOT ear items of clothing with sharp items on them. DO NOT wear torn clothing. Remember to wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty or slightly damaged.

Jewellery
Remove all jewellery. Please do not bring these to the sessions. Lockers are available.

Hair
Secure tie back loose hair prior to participation.

Loose Items
You MUST NOT have anything in your pockets or attached to you that may fall.
Please use the lockers available – this includes electronic devices.

Medication

Bring all medication you may need throughout your activity.

Food/Drink
DO NOT take food or drink into the arena.

What is the minimum height requirement to take part in MagnaTAG?

Players need to be a minimum of 1.2 metres in height to take part.

Do I need a wristband to use MagnaTAG?

Yes, all games require you to wear a wristband. You only need to purchase this once and it can be re-used for future sessions. Remember to bring it on your next visit!

How long does a MagnaTAG session last?

A MagnaTAG session lasts 30 minutes – 10 minute briefing followed by 20 minutes in the arena.

What is MagnaTag?

MagnaTag is a thrilling arena based TAG game! It’s all about quick thinking, lightning-fast moves, ninja-like agility, sharp senses, and a sprinkle of bravery, while also promoting fitness, fun, and a dash of healthy competition! The game? Swipe your wristband at light up TAGs to score points. The tougher the TAG, the bigger the points! Once the game has finished, the central computer tallies up the scores and unveils the ultimate champion! Let the games begin!
