There are huge benefits of staying fit and healthy when you’re older, and there are plenty of activities to choose from at Magna Vitae.
Our over 50’s sessions are tailored to the needs of a more mature body, focusing on strength, flexibility and gentle cardio. They are light to moderate intensity.

Every week on Tuesdays 10am-12pm and Thursdays 2-4pm we have a specialised session called ‘Over 45’s’, with a variety of activities to get stuck into:
- Badminton
- Table tennis
- New-age kurling
- Short mat bowls
This session is £4.00 with an MV card (£4.20 without an MV card).
Station Sports Centre
To help you stay active we have put together a series of sports that are perfect for you and your body and are great for beginners.

Walking Netball
Walking Netball is fun for all with Magna Vitae!
Do you love netball but can’t keep up with it’s fast pace? You will never forget the memories the sport has given you. Our sessions will rekindle that flame!
Walking Netball is a slower version of the game; but at a walking pace. The game has been designed so that anyone can play it regardless of age or fitness level.
From those who have dropped out due to injury, to those who believed they had hung up their trainers many years ago, or even complete beginners, it really is for everyone!
