Community Exercise Groups

Being active, is always more fun with friends

Magna Vitae are proud to deliver a community exercise programme, as well as an exciting programme of social opportunities.

Did you know? In the last year, the community team provided support and activities to over 1600 people aged 50+ living within our communities, including those living with a life limiting illness and carers.

Not sure about what we do?

Listen in as Erica and Marko tells us about two of our Community Programmes.

Still Me

The award winning Still Me Dementia support project, funded by Louth and District Hospice Limited, delivered free social activity sessions aimed at improving the experiences of those affected by Dementia and other life-altering conditions.

These popular sessions,  have been enjoyed by over 350 individuals since November 2016, include a healthy dose of tea, biscuits and laughter, alongside a variety of accessible cultural and physical activities.

Fitness Food and Friends

Fitness, Food and Friends was a project commissioned by Talk. Eat. Drink. (T.E.D.) which is a Big Lottery funded project.

Fitness, Food and Friends saw people aged over 50 getting out and about, becoming more involved in social activities and feeling positive about their future.
