At Magna Vitae we believe swimming is not only a great activity for all ages,  it is also a life skills. So whether you are swimming for fitness, or just having fun with friends, our Magna Vitae pool programmes are bursting with activities for the whole family to enjoy. In addition, we offer a Learn to Swim programme, which teaches babies through to adults how to swim. We have a broad aquatic programme with a fantastic range of pool activities for the whole family to enjoy. From lane swimming to aquacise, family fun splash and even pool parties, you are sure to find something you love in our pools.

General Swimming

No matter your age, ability or fitness level, you can have a great time swimming at our general swimming sessions, available throughout the day at each of our venues.

Our general swimming sessions are perfect for everyone, perhaps you are just starting their fitness journey, and are looking to lose weight, or maybe you want to practise your skills outside of swimming lessons, or perhaps you just want to come for a good old family splash, everyone is welcome at our general swimming sessions.  Check availability and learn more

Lane Swimming

Did you know? Swimming is a great way to boost your fitness. The water supports your body weight, meaning there is no impact on your joints, swimming is the perfect low impact physical activity to enjoy for those starting their fitness journey, or recovering from injury.

We have dedicated lane swimming sessions at each of our venues, providing you with the perfect opportunity to get active whilst enjoying a social swim with others.

Our sessions cater for all abilities with lanes of varying speeds. Please choose your lane based on the speed of the other participants in the session. Check availability and learn more

Keeping fit is important for all of us, but even more so as we get older

Aquacise has all the benefits of a class workout, but with the added benefits of exercising in water. Join our Aquacise class and you will not only get a great cardio-vascular workout, but you will also build muscle strength.

Waterwise Swim Lessons

Waterwise swim lessons follow the Swim England Learn to Swim Programme, the industry-leading programme for delivering safe, inclusive and effective swimming lessons for all ages.

We believe swimming is a life skill, and our fantastic team are here to support you on your learn to swim journey, from the first time you dip your toe in, to when you are ready to dive in the deep end.
