Learn to Swim – Time Changes
- Friday 4:00 – 4:30 pm → Sunday 9:00 – 9:30 am
- Friday 4:30 – 5:00 pm → Sunday 9:30 – 10:00 am
- Friday 5:00 – 5:30 pm → Sunday 10:00 – 10:30 am
Stage 7 & Stage 8 – Combined Session
For this replacement lesson only, Stage 7 and Stage 8 swimmers will be grouped together:
- Friday 5:30 pm
- Friday 6:15 pm
Both groups will attend a combined session on Sunday 21st December from 10:30 – 11:15 am. Our qualified swim teachers will teach side by side, ensuring swimmers continue to receive the appropriate level of instruction and support.

To minimise disruption and ensure swimmers do not miss out on valuable lesson time, all Thursday lessons will be moved to Monday sessions on the dates listed below. Lesson times will remain the same, only the day will change.

Ducklings & Adult Lessons – Day Change

- Adult Beginners (Thursday) → Monday 12:30 – 1:00 pm
Meridian Leisure Centre
Due to the holiday period, the pool will be closed on three consecutive Thursdays (including Christmas Day and New Year’s Day). As a result, swimmers who usually attend lessons on a Thursday will unfortunately miss several sessions in a row.
To ensure our Thursday swimmers don’t miss out on valuable learning and progress, we will be putting on replacement lessons. This replacement lesson is designed to support skill continuity and confidence in the water during the break.
Please see the revised times below. If your child normally swims on a Thursday, please attend your allocated Sunday make-up time.

Skegness Pool & Fitness Suite
Due to a combination of scheduled maintenance works, along with the Christmas Day and New Year’s Day closures, there will be some unavoidable disruption to our normal lesson timetable over the holiday period.
To minimise the impact on our swimmers’ progress and ensure they continue to receive consistent water time, we will be putting on replacement swimming lessons on the following Sundays:
- Sunday 14th December
- Sunday 28th December
- Sunday 4th January
These replacement lessons are being offered to support families affected by the closures and to help swimmers maintain confidence and skill development over the holiday period. Please see below for your adjusted lesson time on these Sundays. If your child normally attends lessons on a Thursday, their lesson will move to a Sunday morning session on the dates listed above.
