Meridian Leisure Centre – Annual Maintenance Notice

Swimming Pool Closure:
We would like to inform you that the Meridian Leisure Centre’s swimming pool will be CLOSED from CLOSED Monday 15^th December to  Friday 19^th December 2025 for annual maintenance.

During this time:

• The Fitness Suite will remain open Monday 15^th December & Tuesday 16^th December 2025, as per our opening times. (Find our opening times by clicking here).

• Our entire venue will be fully closed on Wednesday 17^th, Thursday 18^th and Friday 19^th December 2025, as well as Christmas Day (25^th December) & Boxing Day (26^th December) 2025 – and New Year’s Day (1^st January) 2026.

• All classes will be found on our timetables (once updated and online.) Aquacise will not be available due to the pool closure.

Building Closure:
As listed above: The whole building will be CLOSED on Wednesday 17^th, Thursday 18^th and Friday 19^th December, as well as Christmas Day (25^th December) & Boxing Day (26^th December) 2025 – and New Year’s Day (1^st January) 2026.

Maintenance Work:
During the closure, contractors will be completing essential building maintenance – and the team will be carrying out a deep clean, which is the reason for the extended closure period. While we understand that any closure is disruptive, this is the optimal time to undertake both essential, and routine, repairs and maintenance. We apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we complete these vital improvements.

Swimming Lessons:

• Swimming lessons will NOT run from Monday 15^th December to Friday 19^th December.

• Lessons will resume as normal from Saturday 20^th December (except for the other closure dates previously listed: 25^th & 26^th December 2025 and 1^st January 2026).

• Lessons will continue over the Christmas period, with full details sent via email in early December.

Direct Debit Information:
Our Direct Debit payments guarantee 46 weeks of swimming lessons per year, allowing for six lessons not to take place. Should more than six lessons be cancelled, a reimbursement will be issued.
