Is my child eligible to take part in the HAF Programme?

What is the HAF Programme?
‘HAF’ is the Holiday Activity & Food programme funded by the government. This programme runs at Skegness, Louth and Mablethorpe. The aim is to provide opportunities to be active, socialise and providing fun ways to learn about food education as well as a free meal at every session.
What does my child need to bring with them?
Your child will need lunch, a water bottle (preferably refillable), snacks, sun hat and sun cream and a waterproof coat (which hopefully we won’t need to use!)
What if my child doesn’t know anyone?
We encourage children to mix with each other right from the start and we never leave anyone out. Our first games and activities are icebreakers, ideal for those children who may not know anyone.
Will my child be looked after properly?
Of course! Our delivery team are experienced, qualified and are fully trained. Each member of staff holds a valid DBS check and is trained in First Aid.
What if my child doesn’t like the activities?
We encourage all children to have a go at the activities, even if they don’t like it or feel they are bad at it. We don’t force children to take part but if they don’t want to join in we ask them to assist in other ways like keeping score and setting out equipment. We … Continued

What is School’s Out?
‘School’s Out’ is a holiday programme delivering FREE sport & physical activities to children living within certain areas of East Lindsey. It provides opportunities for children to become more active and social, whilst accessing coaching from National Governing Body (NGB) qualified coaches.
What does my child need to bring with them?
This would depend on the holiday activity. For a swimming activity your child would need to bring all of their usual swimming accessories such as towel and swimming costume/shorts. How do I book on to your holiday activities?
You can book via our website or via our Magna Vitae app. Although all of our sessions are bookable only 7 days in advance, our holiday activities are available to book once they are live.
