Do your courses include AED (defibrillator) training?

All National Pool Lifeguard Qualifications (NPLQ) and First Aid at Work courses include basic AED (defibrillator) training as part of the main syllabus. Occasionally, we may run courses with a bolt-on AED certificate which will mean it will then be certified as an independent qualification.

Is there a written paper involved in the assessment?

For National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ), First Aid at Work and Paediatric First Aid courses, they will all include a multiple choice question paper. The 3-day First Aid at Work will include 2 papers (1 taken on the first day and one taken on the 3rd day).
