Is there an age or height limit for the large slide at Meridian Pool, Louth?
Yes. The large slide has a minimum height requirement of 1.1 metres. Children must meet this height to use the slide safely on their own. However, they can still enjoy the slide with an adult if they are under this height.
Do children need adult supervision in the pool?
Yes. All children under the age of 8 years old must be accompanied by an adult at all times, especially if they are young or have limited swimming ability. Please see our Swim Policy.
Are there swimming ability requirements for children using the pool?
Children who are not confident swimmers or can only swim short distances must stay in the shallow areas and cannot use the deep end of the main pool. All children under the age of 8 years old must be accompanied by an adult. See our Swim Policy for more information on Our Policies section.
Is there a slide suitable for younger children?
Yes. The Pirate Ship slide is suitable for children aged 8 and under, making it ideal for younger swimmers.
