The RLSS UK National Pool Plant Operator Certificate provides the essential skills and knowledge needed to safely operate and maintain swimming pool plant systems.
Approved by the Pool Water Treatment Advisory Group (PWTAG), this qualification ensures you are trained to current industry standards and best practice for pool water treatment and safety.
This course is suitable for anyone responsible for the day-to-day operation of a pool plant room, including staff working in leisure centres, schools, hotels and private pool facilities. You must be aged 18 or over by the course start date.
Tuesday 5th – Thursday 7th May
The course is delivered through a combination of classroom learning, practical plant room experience and assessment activities.
You will learn about:

Chlorine, chemical control and disinfection

Water testing, pollution and parasite detection

Assessment is completed during and after the course and includes a multiple-choice written exam and a work-based assignment to be submitted within three weeks of course completion.
