Following a competitive tender process, the South & East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership has appointed Parkwood Leisure as the future operator of its leisure centres from 1 October 2027.
For now, nothing is changing. Magna Vitae will continue to run all leisure centres as normal, with the same friendly teams, high standards, and positive community impact that customers know and trust.
Over the coming years, Magna Vitae will work closely with East Lindsey District Council and Parkwood Leisure to make sure the transition is carefully planned and smooth, keeping customers, staff, and communities at the heart of every step.
We also want to reassure you that minimal change is expected to the existing staffing and operations across the facilities, so you’ll continue to see familiar faces and receive the same great service.
From October 2027, Parkwood Leisure will operate:
- Meridian Leisure Centre
- Skegness Swimming Pool & Fitness Suite
- Horncastle Swimming Pool & Fitness Suite
- Station Leisure & Learning Centre
Founded in 1995, Parkwood Leisure is one of the most experienced providers of leisure management provision in the UK, running around 80 leisure facilities on behalf of local authorities throughout England and Wales with a mission to create and maintain sustainable, lasting partnerships which help build happier and healthier local communities.
Magna Vitae will continue to manage the Embassy Theatre, SO Festival, and deliver its vibrant programme of cultural events and community-focused activities that so many people enjoy.
