♻️ Why This Matters
According to Leisure Loop’s research, the average six-lane swimming pool produces over 100 litres of plastic waste every month — things like broken goggles, swim caps, floats, and more.
Left unchecked, UK pools combined could fill an Olympic-sized pool with this waste in just 8 months. But it doesn’t have to be this way.
Leisure Loop’s first goal is to collect enough swim waste to fill a 25-metre pool, and with your help, we can get there faster.
🏊 We’re Making Waves
We’re proud to announce that two of our four leisure venues in East Lindsey are currently ranked in the UK’s top 10 for pool waste recycling! Even better — our Louth venue is ranked 4th nationally.
This is a community effort, and every pair of goggles or old float you recycle brings us closer to zero waste in our pools.
💪 How You Can Help
If you swim, you can make a difference.
✅ Visit any of our four leisure venues in East Lindsey
✅ Drop off used or broken swim gear in the dedicated Leisure Loop bins
✅ Encourage family and friends to do the same
By choosing to recycle instead of landfill, you’re helping to protect our environment — and support a circular economy in leisure.
Recycle with us!
Leisure Loop then collects it. It gets transformed into new products.
Let’s end plastic pollution together — starting with our pools.
