Monday 19th – Sunday 25th May

Dementia Action Week is a national awareness campaign led by the Alzheimer’s Society.

It’s a time to come together to take action, raise awareness and improve the lives of people living with dementia and their carers.

💬 What Is Dementia Action Week About?

Every year, Dementia Action Week shines a spotlight on the importance of:

  • Understanding what it’s like to live with dementia

  • Encouraging early diagnosis and access to support

  • Reducing stigma and promoting inclusion

  • Inspiring individuals, organisations, and communities to act

No action is too small – a simple change in attitude or offering a helping hand can make a big difference.
