Louth ‘Dolphins’ Swimming Club, recently hosted a Level 1 Assistant Coaches course at The Meridian Leisure Centre, Louth, Lincolnshire.

The course started back in February with 12 – 15 hours of online study, followed by 3 interactive zoom sessions in March. The culmination being over 4 hours of practical experience over 2 club session, experiencing all age groups over 3 squads’ – skills, development and performance. Under the guidance of experienced squad leaders and their course tutor Matt Newton.

The facility here is truly amazing, providing an ideal environment for both learners and coaches alike. Throughout the course, the participants have had the privilege of experiencing a broad spectrum of ages and abilities. This diversity aligns perfectly with UK Coaching’s commitment to nurturing coaching expertise across different settings and environments.
