Sight loss charity, the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB), is inviting blind and partially sighted people in and around the Mablethorpe area to new meet-up sessions.

Arranged by RNIB’s Community Connection Team, the meet-ups are open to anyone who has sight loss and is over the age of 18.

The sessions will be a chance to learn what services and support are available to blind and partially sighted people in Mablethorpe, to share their experiences with others who have sight loss and to meet new people from the local area.

James Hassall, RNIB’s community connection coordinator for the Midlands, said:

“If you’re looking to meet others with sight loss in the area, or are interested in finding out more about the services available to you, make sure to sign up for our meet-up sessions. We look forward to welcoming you.”

The first meet-up will take place on Wednesday, September 18 from 11am to 1pm at the Station Leisure and Learning Centre, Station Road, Mablethorpe, LN12 1HA.

For more information about the meet-ups and to register, email james.hassall@rnib.org.uk or call 01509 277298.
