We are thrilled to announce that the much-anticipated redevelopment of the Embassy Theatre is set to begin shortly! This significant project will bring a host of improvements designed to enhance your experience.
What work is due to take place?
- Upgraded Auditorium Seating: We’re refreshing our seating to ensure you enjoy even greater comfort during your visits.
- Increased Storage: New facilities will be added to accommodate staging and equipment more efficiently.
- Entrance and Foyer Redesign: A brand-new extension will transform our entrance and foyer, providing a more welcoming and modern space.
- Outdoor Seating Area: Relax and enjoy the fresh air with our new outdoor seating area.
Timeline and Access Changes
Work may start from: Monday, 19 August
Expected Completion: April 2025
To facilitate the redevelopment, there will be some changes to how you access our venues:
- Reduced Parking: The Skegness Pool & Fitness Suite car park, located behind the pool and Embassy Theatre (accessible by turning left off Tower Esplanade), will have fewer spaces available. This reduction will remain in place throughout the construction period.
- Alternative Parking: We recommend using the other council car parks along the seafront and in Skegness town centre. For detailed information on parking locations and prices, please visit Skegness Car Parking.
- Access to Skegness Pool & Fitness Suite: This may be affected during the redevelopment. We will provide full details as soon as they are confirmed to us.

Additionally, Skegness Pool & Fitness Suite will continue to operate as usual, so you can still enjoy our facilities.
