National Fitness Day 2022 will take place on Wednesday 21st September and is a chance to highlight the role physical activity plays across the UK, helping us raise awareness of its importance in assisting us lead healthier lifestyles through being physical active.

Fitness Unites Us – We believe physical activity has the ability to bring people together and to positively impact on all of our physical, mental and social wellbeing. Therefore during the campaign we will celebrate how a huge range of activities can be enjoyed by participants of all ages and backgrounds.

Previously we have seen ‘plank offs’, yoga and pilates classes, treadmill challenges, high-street HIIT classes, dance-offs, mass walks, virtual workouts and we look forward to seeing many more.

Our community team delivers Ageless & Agile sessions every week at all four venues. These sessions are catered towards older people that may want to keep their fitness levels up while finding a new hobby!

Activities delivered include local walking routes, sporting memories sessions, walking cricket, a range of seated exercises and a simple “cuppa and a chat”.

These sessions are perfect if you are on our Exercise & Prescription programme!

For more information on any of these sessions, please email or call 01507 681812.

International Day of Charity is an internationally celebrated day on 5th September. It was first introduced by the United Nations.

The aim of the International Day of Charity is to raise awareness and give a platform to charity activities around the world for charitable, individuals and volunteer organisations at local, national and international levels.

International Day of Charity seeks to enhance social responsibility and increase public support of charitable causes.

Did you know – Magna Vitae are a charitable trust! For every penny you invest in us, we give back to the community 4x the value!

The children may be back in school but there is no let up at the Embassy Theatre. The season continues until the end of December when the spectacular pantomime Beauty and the Beast takes centre stage. In September alone, there are more household names with G4 performing live and a special evening dedicated to Sir Ranulph Fiennes. He’ll be talking about his magnificent career as the world’s greatest living explorer.

Add into the mix, the return of the hugely popular That’ll Be The Day and the first ever visit of Bingo Revolution and you’re looking at a very busy autumn season – there’s something for everyone this September! Book your tickets online at
