I have delivered and co-ordinated health improvement programmes for over 9 years. My interests are in nutrition, exercise and wellbeing and am motivated by empowering people who would otherwise not be active. I believe being healthy involves being physically and mentally fit.

Marko Humphrey
I studied food technology at university then worked in food chemical & micro labs. I became interested in the benefits of nutrition and how food can help people to live better. I worked for Food for Life with ELDC before starting this role. “You are what you eat, digest and absorb”.

Erica Bowering
I graduated from Staffordshire University with a BA (Hons) Degree in Sports Development & Coaching and worked for Stoke City FC as part of their Community Trust. Seeing the positive outcomes that can be reached by working closely with my colleagues and the community is very rewarding.

Elizabeth Atkin
I graduated at Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts with a degree in Community Drama and set up my own company Grubby Knees Community Theatre. I am excited about "Still Me" and using culture to inspire, engage and interact with people with life limiting conditions.

Laura has been in the fitness industry for over 4 years, working her way up from a level 2 Gym Instructor to Exercise to Music Instructor and level 3 Personal Trainer and Pilates Mat Instructor.
She currently teaches Les Mills BodyCombat and BodyPump amongst other classes.

George Morris
I have a degree in Sports Science, Level 3 qualifications in Personal Training & Exercise Referral, and I’m working towards a Level 4 in Strength & Conditioning. I enjoy coaching so I love working with people in the gym to supplement their sport and improving performance.

Sammy Noton
I have an Applied Exercise Science degree, Level 3 Personal training, Indoor Cycle and Level 3 Exercise Referral qualifications. I use resistance training and HIIT cardio to stay in shape and enjoy the shorter workouts and variation of using free weights.

Kenny Foakes
I have been working for Magna Vitae for 3 years, specifically at Station Sports Centre from which I have become a Fitness Instructor, Spin Class Instructor and also a Personal Trainer. My motto is: "Live each day as if it's your last, because one day, you'll be right".

Richard Milburn
I have nearly 10 years’ experience as a Personal Trainer, Exercise Referral Instructor and Fitness Advisor. I specialise in Exercise Referral and my philosophy is “to be an achiever you have to be a believer”.
Swimming Teachers

Donna Smith
I have over 20 years’ experience working in childcare, and have worked in all settings, from EYFS to Scouts and Secondary. I also worked as SENCO, with autism being a particular focus. I am a level 2 swimming teacher and enjoy being able to help all people learn this life skill.

Nicki Gustard
I qualified as a Level 2 Swimming Teacher 17 years ago. I have attended many training courses and still enjoy teaching the mix from baby to senior. Each individual is special and makes my career varied, at times chaotic but fun and very fulfilling.
Course Tutors

Becky Clark
I have 15 years’ experience lifeguarding and 5 years as a Trainer Assessor. I have become a mentor of Trainer Assessors to guide them through training and run courses and conduct external assessments all over the UK. I specialise in NPLQ, FAW, Paediatric First Aid, NRASTC and AED.
