Following on from the Government announcement on 12 July to ease all restrictions across England from 19 July, we, at Magna Vitae, would like to confirm the operational changes that you can expect over the next few weeks as they adjust to the new normal.
Over the last 16 months our dedicated staff have worked incredibly hard to ensure that all our venues have been thoroughly cleaned, disinfected, sanitised and COVID secure. Continuingly filling you with the confidence that you can visit us in a safe and secure environment. Whilst the guidance will be changing from 19 July, there are some changes that were introduced during the pandemic that will be staying as safety remains our priority.
The introduction of an online booking system to help make bookings at our venues more streamline and easier for MV card holders and members will be staying. This means bookings for the swimming pools, fitness suites and exercise classes will remain in place. Sessions can be booked through our online booking portal, by emailing us directly or by calling our venues.
From 19 July, walk ins into the venues for activities will be accepted, meaning that you have added flexibility, however, please be aware not all facilities are open as before so please check current timetables for session times. We really do advise to book in advance to ensure you do not miss out. We will be increasing capacities gradually across our venues for swimming pool sessions, exercise classes and fitness sessions, this means that sessions may become busier than they have been over the last few months. This will be a gradual process so please be patient as we find the new normal.
As the restrictions ease, it does not mean COVID-19 has gone, we still need to be very cautious. As always health and safety are paramount to living a great life with Magna Vitae, and our customer and staff’s health and wellbeing are at the forefront of the decisions we make. We have therefore taken the approach to have our teams continue to wear face coverings. With isolation cases causing an issue for many businesses we really do need to stay safe to stay open, your help will be paramount in this.
You can view all our changes and frequently asked questions to find out more. Keep an eye on our social media and website for upcoming programme changes.
Be kind, be considerate and most of all be mindful of others.
Thank you for your continued ongoing support.
