This qualification builds upon the knowledge, skills and abilities they developed in the Swim England Level 1 Swimming Assistant (Teaching) qualification. When achieved it ensures swimming teachers can effectively and independently plan, prepare, deliver, monitor and evaluate a series of swimming teaching lessons. This will allow the learners to deliver the Learn to Swim Framework (Stage 1-7) of the Learn to Swim Programme.

The assessment for this qualification is completed during the course hours and will be both practical and theory based. To achieve this qualification all learning outcomes and assessment criteria must be deemed competent, and all the evidence produced by the learner must be their own work and in English.

Learners must hold Swim England Level 1 Swimming Assistant (Teaching) or an equivalent ASA qualification certified after 1994. They must also be 16yrs of age when registering for the course.

  2. Email it to hollie.field@mvtlc.org or post to Meridian Leisure Centre, Wood Lane, Louth, Lincolnshire, LN11 8SA
  3. Call 01507 681808 and make payment of £600 over the phone.

Your place can only be confirmed upon payment for the course. It is the learners’ responsibility to ensure they have met the entry requirements above before payment is taken.
