Meridian Leisure Centre Service Changes

We would like to apologise and inform you that Meridian Leisure Centre will be CLOSED Monday 9^th December to Friday 20^th December for annual maintenance and on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.

Maintenance and Repairs

Earlier this year, East Lindsey District Council secured a substantial funding investment from Sport England to update and enhance key aspects of the venue. This project aims to improve environmental sustainability, operational efficiency, and reduce running costs, supporting a more eco-friendly and efficient facility.

While we understand that any closure is disruptive, the festive season is the optimal time to undertake these essential upgrades along with our routine repairs and maintenance. During this period, the entire facility will be temporarily closed.

We apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we complete these vital improvements. Once finished, the upgrades will significantly lower the centre’s carbon footprint and enhance the efficiency of the building’s operations

Car Park Disruptions

Alongside the work being completed within the venue, the contractors require several car parking spaces within the carpark. From Monday 25th November there will be no access to the charging bays as well as the disability bays at the front of the building.

Swimming Lesson Changes

Due to the annual maintenance closures, the team have worked hard to ensure we provide our swimming lesson swimmer with an additional lesson between Christmas and New Year, further communications has been sent to swimmers email addresses with regards to this.

Whilst our venue is temporarily closed, we have tried our best to continue with our exercise class provision out in the community. Classes will continue at London Road Pavilion, King Edwards Grammar School, and Station Leisure & Learning Centre in Mablethorpe. Please click, Classes in the Community below to see timetable.

Your membership will allow you access to our other venues – Horncastle Pool & Fitness Suite and Station Leisure & Learning Centre in Mablethorpe during this time. Booking for sessions is essential. Programmes for these venues can be seen below:
