Following the government’s latest pandemic update, we have thankfully seen the start of a gradual easing of “lockdown” restrictions and the details for a phased restart for businesses and services. Of course, we have already seen that a lot can change very quickly, but we currently have everything crossed that we can open some of our venues again, perhaps even as early as July!? However, we fully appreciate that this is all very dependent on further government guidance being issued and a number of other influencing factors that may arise in the meantime.
The safety of our staff and customers is our main priority and we are currently following industry guidelines and putting in place a number of measures to ensure our venues and services are as safe as possible for everyone. Therefore, as a responsible local charity we will only re-open once we have developed and implemented the necessary steps to make it so.
The advice received from Public Health England strongly encourages physical activity due to its positive impact on fighting infection, building immunity and improving overall health. Advice our members have acknowledged, it’s been great to see so many of you keeping active whilst at home! We know a lot of you have actually increased your activity levels during lockdown and now we really cannot wait to welcome everyone back and start helping to re-build your great lives once again!!
