Karly is changing her life

/ Health & Fitness

Single mum-of-two Karly Gould admits piling on the weight after giving birth to her second child.

However, the former horse dealer from Horncastle, was determined to change her life. Karly set about a regime of healthy eating and exercise – becoming a Magna Vitae member at the fitness suites in both Horncastle and at Meridian.

Now, three stone lighter, the 30-year-old is about to enter her first body building competition and has just undertaken her first fitness and glamour model photo shoot. With her children now six and four, she trains almost daily while they are at school.

“I have had a complete change of lifestyle and I love it. Yes, it is hard at first, but you then start seeing the results and it is great – I will never look back now,” said Karly.

Of course, the fitness also came with a change in her eating habits and she now follows a ‘body builders’’ plan. This involves regular amounts of protein and carbs.

“I am really looking forward to my first competition, which will hopefully be the start of something and the modelling is great. I have come to both these things relatively late in life, when compared to others, and that is even more rewarding,” she added.

New starters at all our fitness suites receive a full and proper exercise plan from our experienced Lifestyle Consultants, with follow-up consultations.
