It’s now time to start living a great life again with Magna Vitae!
Firstly, Magna Vitae would like to extend a massive thank you for all of your continued support during this very difficult time. The last few months have been an incredible challenge and, at times, a gruelling experience that no one had thought would ever really happen! As a charity your customer loyalty, support and numerous messages of goodwill have helped us stay focused and motivated in order to re-open our venues and begin to help you, our local community and valued custom, come back and start to live a great life once again!
From the 25th of July we started to provide you with “COVID 19 Secure” services at our leisure venues across the East Lindsey area. As a registered charity we would like to remind you that for every pound you spend with us, we reinvest in order to help deliver to you even more fun activities to help keep you, our valued community, more active…..more often, fit, healthy and well.
The services currently on offer have needed to be modified to comply with social distancing requirements. This isn’t easy, our custom and members have responded exceptionally to the current “new normal”, it will be necessary for us to continually adapt our operational service, we do hope to reintroduce other ancillary elements of our service in the not too distant a future. Some changing spaces and lockers being offered will be welcomed we know!……and thank you once again everybody for your patience and general understanding. Going forward we continue to assess and reassess the processes and procedures we have put in place to ensure that we are keeping fully compliant with the latest Government guidance and, most importantly, that we remain COVID Secure, protecting both our staff and all of our custom.
The current services available at each of the venues this week are:
Horncastle Pool & Fitness Suite – Fitness Sessions only
Meridian Leisure Centre, Louth – Fitness Sessions, Swimming Sessions and Group Exercise Classes
Skegness Pool & Fitness Suite – Fitness Sessions and Swimming Sessions
Station Sports Centre, Mablethorpe – Fitness Sessions only
Our site activity programmes are adapting, changing and gradually growing each week. We are working hard to increase the number of sessions being made available as well as the variety of services on offer. Please do keep a close eye on our social media and our website as we announce and deliver these changes.
As we stated within our previous communications, we plan to restart your membership payments from the 1st September 2020.
Direct Debit Members – For you, this means that your direct debit will recommence and the next financial payment via your bank account, will be taken on 1st September 2020. Your payment amount will remain the same as it was before lockdown commenced.
Cash Members – For you, this means we will extend your membership for the amount of days you lost during the COVID-19 lockdown. Your membership will restart from 1st September 2020, and we will add on the additional days you are due and amend your membership expiry date.
If there is any medical reason, or other personal extenuating circumstance(s) as to why you are unable to recommence your membership on the 1st September 2020, we ask that you email us on email@example.com. We understand that there will be a number of members in this position. We will need to consider these on a case by case basis, some circumstantial proof may be required and we will be especially grateful for your continued patience whilst we deal with these matters as quickly as possible.
If you haven’t already done so but would now like to re-activate and start using your membership again, our Charity would, of course, be most grateful. This can be arranged today, remembering there will still be no charge incurred until 1st September; you will just need to contact our customer service team via email at firstname.lastname@example.org and let them know.
We still need you to help us routinely comply with the “Track and Trace” process for the NHS. Pre-booking your sessions through our online booking portal helps significantly with this. You should also note that our venue opening times are now slightly different and our session times will reflect this when you look to book. Please check via our website.
You should have now received your login details if we have your email address. If you haven’t received these it does mean we don’t have you up to date information. Please do get in contact with us at email@example.com and we will provide you with these.
If your email address is registered to more than one account, you will need to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org in order to access the multiple accounts information, or simply provide us with an alternative email address.
Before you book your sessions there are a few things that you will need to remember:
– You are now able to book more than one session per day, please be reasonable
– You can book your sessions three days in advance from 8.00am
– There will be no lockers or changing rooms available so please arrive in your activity gear, ready to start your session
– You will need to bring your own water bottle with you, the water fountains and vending machines will not be in action
– If you are unable to attend a session, please be sure to cancel through the online booking system. Failure to do this results in disappointing other customers who are currently sitting on our waiting list!!
