Our monthly blog is here, shall we see what’s happening in February at Magna Vitae!


As part of our Golden Quarter social media campaign, every Tuesday we post a new recipe made by our very own nutritional expert, Marko.

Here’s just one example of one of these recipes. We tell you all the ingredients you need, and point you in the right direction of assembling them all into a magnificent meal!

– In a large pan, heat the sunflower oil over a medium heat
– Add the chopped onion and fry until soft
– Add the sliced red pepper to the pan, along with the garlic and rice
– Stir fry these ingredients together for 1 minute
– Add the stock, turmeric and paprika and bring it to the boil
– Next, let the ingredients simmer gently for 10-12 minutes
– Stir in the prawns and the peas and cook for a further 3-4 minutes
– Season with salt and pepper to your liking
– Serve and enjoy!

DODGEBALL (8-14yrs) – £3.00

Dodgeball is a simple, fast paced game that can be played by anyone. Teams of mixed ability, gender and age are possible. The aim of the game is to eliminate the opposing team by either hitting them with a ball or catching one of their throws. 


FOOTBALL (8-14yrs) – £3.00

We hope to put together a mini football tournament, however this will depend on numbers on the day. Liam will provide training drills and fun sessions to improve football skills. 


MV GYMNASTICS TASTER (Main Programme: 5-16yrs) – £5.50

A one-off session which will focus on all aspects of gymnastics. Our Level 2 Coach Liam will take you through 1 hours worth of quality content. Gymnasts will learn all the core fundamental of British Gymnastics. Already got some experience in Gymnastics? Liam will coach experienced gymnastics individually, helping to work on what they already know. 


JUNIOR BADMINTON (8-16yrs) – £3.00

Casual Badminton for juniors. Great change for some fun, fitness and socializing. Badminton rackets and shuttlecocks are included in the price of the session. 



A FREE open day showcasing our club – Magna Vitae Gymnastics! Parents are encouraged to stay and watch this interactive, inclusive session. Watch how we teach. Learn the starter moves and why they are so important to the more established moves. We’ll have experienced gymnastics performing demonstrations. We want you to get to know us! So ask questions… Bring your family members… And most importantly, bring that person who dreams of becoming a gymnast! Please note: This is only available for new customers – not those who are already enrolled.


The 6th of February is Meridian Leisure Centre’s 12th birthday!
